Cognitive Apprenticeship

An approach to teaching / learning complex skills based on the premise that [much-of-expert-knowledge-is-tacit], therefore the learner must see (and then practice) knowledge in action (in context) to acquire the processes through which knowledge is applied for a given domain of expertise.
