PKM routines
PKM routines
A critical part of the disciplines of Personal Knowledge Management is the establishment of a routine.
Many writers recommend the use of nested loops of routines, for example:
- a Daily Logging routine
- a Weekly Review
- Monthly Review, Quarterly Review and/or Annual Review
However many of these are heavily biased towards capture (Seek), and for many people (certainly this author) the biggest failure in PKM routine is to spend too much effort and time in the Seek part of the cycle, and insufficient time in Sensemaking.
